How We Find and Check Links

Every link and code on Freebies Tracker goes through the same routine before it reaches a game page. Here is what that looks like.

Where we look

Game developers share free rewards in a handful of official places. These include their Facebook pages, X accounts, Discord servers, email newsletters and in-game news. Our team follows these channels for every game we cover, so new rewards show up here soon after they are released.

What we check before listing

Before a link goes live, we confirm it opens the game’s own website or its official link service. Links that send you anywhere else are not listed. For redeem codes, we confirm the code came from an official source and note the reward it gives.

We also check the redeem steps on the official redeem page, so the instructions on each game page match what you actually see.

Keeping lists fresh

Game pages are reviewed every hour. Each link shows when it was added, with the newest at the top. Links older than a few days drop off, since most rewards stop working after about three days.

When a code stops working, it moves to the expired list on that page. That way you can still see old codes without wasting time on them.

How players help

Next to every link and code there are Worked and Expired buttons. When many players mark something as expired, it fades out on the page. Comments help too: if you find a new code or a broken link, let us know on that game page.

Our promise

We never ask for your password or game login, and we never list hacks, generators or modded apps. Collecting a reward should only take a tap, or a quick copy and paste.
